VIM-CS Laser Marking Machine

VIM-CS is a split-design CO2 laser marking machine series. The source describes separation between the laser or marking unit and the control unit. Five power models are listed: VIM30CS at 30W, VIM40CS at 40W, VIM60CS at 60W, VIM100CS at 100W and VIM150CS at 150W, all with a 10.6 μm wavelength.

The split arrangement makes component placement a central selection issue. Consider where the marking work will take place and where the controls need to be accessed, then request the dimensions and connection details for the proposed equipment. Separation of units does not establish an unrestricted distance between them or a capacity for any size of object.

VIM30CS and VIM40CS configuration

The CO2 tube, air cooling device, galvo scanner, field lens and red dot pointer form the described laser and optical configuration. The pointer supplies a visible positioning reference. Include the workpiece outline and the proposed mark location when reviewing how the marking unit will be set up relative to the object.

VIM30CS and VIM40CS provide the lower two listed power choices. The larger entries increase power to 60W, 100W and 150W while retaining the common wavelength. This is a model comparison, not a schedule of results: the mark's size, content, material and required appearance still need to be specified.

The control system supports parameter setting, adjustment and real-time monitoring. With a separate control unit, the location of the interface deserves attention in the workstation layout. Identify where settings will be entered and where the operator will handle the part, then check that arrangement against the actual equipment dimensions and connections.

VIM-CS CO2 laser marking machine applications

The published description names plastic, glass and ceramics as marking and engraving applications. Supply the exact substrate and any surface finish, together with the artwork at the intended size. If appearance is important, describe the requirement rather than assuming that a broad material name or a power choice defines the finished mark.

A split layout can be discussed around the space available for the marking and control units. Draw both proposed positions and show the workpiece support, access route and operator position. This is a useful preparation exercise for a restricted workstation, but the final arrangement needs confirmation using the offered unit sizes and permissible connections.

VIM-CS controls and setup

The specification on this page assigns models, laser powers and wavelength. Ask for the selected field, optical setup and control details in the equipment proposal. Keep these choices together instead of borrowing an area or software specification from a similar-looking machine elsewhere in the marking range.

An interlock is described that stops operation when a safety door or panel opens. Air cooling is also listed. Review the operating instructions and actual protective arrangement for the selected setup; these features alone do not certify the completed workstation or set a continuous operating duration.

For several job types, prepare a small set of representative artwork and part drawings. State what stays fixed in the layout and what changes between jobs. A configuration enquiry can then identify the selected VIM-CS power model, the marking task, the proposed positions of the separate units and any requested supports or accessories, without leaving the supplied equipment boundary implicit.

Product questions

What is separate in the VIM-CS design?

The source describes separation between the laser or marking unit and the control unit. Confirm the actual unit arrangement and connection details for the equipment being proposed.

What are the powers of VIM30CS and VIM40CS?

VIM30CS is listed at 30W and VIM40CS at 40W. VIM60CS, VIM100CS and VIM150CS add 60W, 100W and 150W choices; all share the published 10.6 μm wavelength.

What application materials are described?

Plastic, glass and ceramics are named for marking and engraving. The actual substrate, finish and desired result still need to be considered for the proposed marking task.

Does split design establish the distance between units?

No connection length is assigned here. Provide the intended layout and obtain the allowed arrangement for the selected equipment before fixing the positions of the marking and control units.

What information helps define the marking setup?

Provide artwork dimensions, material details, a part drawing and the proposed workstation layout. Identify the full power model and request the field, optics, control and any required accessories explicitly.
