VIW-R Laser Welding Machine

VIW-R is an automatic laser welding machine family with robotic arm integration described for repetitive welding tasks. The fixed structure includes a welding head, laser generator and industrial water chiller. The three models are VIW1500R, VIW2000R and VIW3000R, at listed powers of 1500W, 2000W and 3000W.

The integration claim comes from the product text itself. Its actual scope should be defined in a proposal: no robot brand, axis count or reach is stated here, and the description does not establish an identical robot package supplied with every order.

VIW1500R and VIW2000R specifications

VIW1500R and VIW2000R share a 1080nm wavelength and Water Cooling. Both list standard 10m fiber with maximum support for 20m. VIW3000R retains those entries at 3000W, providing a third power choice within the same published family.

Raycus, JPT, IPG and Max are the laser source alternatives. The control system is described with monitoring and adjustment of power, speed and focus. Those welding settings should be discussed alongside the joint, while robot motion remains a separate specification.

The fiber-length entry does not define robot reach. Put the requested fiber length and proposed robot movement in their own places on an integration layout, rather than using one dimension for both.

VIW-R automatic laser welding machine planning

VIW-R automatic laser welding machine planning needs a clear picture of the repeated task. Show the seams on the assembly, with materials and thicknesses identified. Number repeated joints and mark their positions. This gives the integration discussion a defined set of operations.

The holding arrangement belongs beside those joint views. Identify how the parts will be located, which fixtures already exist and which additional items you want considered. That separates equipment already available at the site from the scope you are requesting.

Describe loading and unloading as well. Show how an assembly would be presented for welding and removed afterwards. Robotic integration is a named feature of the series, but it does not automatically define those surrounding steps as an unattended line.

For different assemblies, identify shared joints and any change in holding or position. Keep quantities with the relevant designs as your intended workload. A model power alone does not establish a cycle time or weld result for those assemblies.

VIW-R configuration and controls

English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian are listed as supported languages. Specify the interface language needed by the intended users. The published humidity condition is below 70% with no condensation; include that full condition in the installation information.

The industrial water chiller is consistent with the Water Cooling table entry. The description also names an emergency stop button and an interlock that stops the machine when protective doors are opened. These are stated equipment functions, without an established certification for the complete installed system.

A useful equipment list identifies the power model, laser source, fiber requirement and proposed integration arrangement. Attach the corresponding joint and holding drawings. If two offers use different fixtures or loading sequences, make those differences visible before comparing them under the same series name.

Keep the supply boundary explicit: identify which equipment is already present, which items are requested and which interfaces still need to be agreed. This turns a broad automation inquiry into a defined project without assuming a robot brand or complete line from the product description.

Product questions

What differs between VIW1500R and VIW2000R?

Their powers are 1500W and 2000W. Both list 1080nm wavelength, water cooling and standard 10m fiber with maximum support for 20m.

Is robotic integration stated for VIW-R?

Yes. Robotic Arm Integration is explicitly described for repetitive welding tasks. Actual robot specifications and the included equipment scope should be established in the proposal.

Can fiber length be used as robot reach?

No. The 10m standard and 20m maximum-support entries describe the fiber. Robot reach is a separate requirement to specify.

Which source brands are listed?

Raycus, JPT, IPG and Max are the alternatives. The selected brand should be named alongside the proposed model and power.

What should accompany an integration request?

Joint drawings, materials and thicknesses, seam positions, holding arrangements and the intended loading sequence. Identify existing equipment and the items you want included in the proposal.
